Located in the heart of Southwest Kansas, we provide upland bird hunts in prime ringneck country.  Established in 1982 as Golden Prairie Hunting Service by Jeff and Debbie White, a transition to new ownership by Vance and Britney Marlin has brought with it an updated name, Hunt Golden Prairie.

Hunt Golden Prairie’s season runs from October through February.

Before Your Hunt

Things to bring

Shotgun, ammo, hunting clothes and footwear, we do not require orange but is recommended.  Southwest Kansas weather can be crazy so plan accordingly.  Breakfast and lunch are provided, but dinner will be on your own.  Our lodges are furnished with functioning kitchens and a grill, many of our guests bring their own foods for dinner.  Sublette offers a few local restaurants that we can point you to as well.

A license is required to hunt with us. We suggest you download the GoOutdoorsKs app on your phone and purchase one there.  If you are coming from out of state we suggest the Controlled Shooting License.
